MAKING KRANTOM TEA: THE BREW
Kratom is yet to be tested by The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) agency in the United States.
Hence, its sale in the United States is only for burning purpose, as incense.
With a smell that is resonant of a crisp fall day, you can tell it does burn pretty well.
The consumption of kratom or its tea cannot be ignored.
Kratom is a miraculous leaf, and might just offer the relief you strive for.
It is for those that seek an all-natural real and legal ways of mitigating serious pain that come from diseases and issues from Lyme and spinal cord.
For centuries, its usage has been as a recreational and medicinal herb.
Its effect is relative to the doses, whether they are high or low.
As a high dose, it could be a sedative, an anaesthetic, create a euphoric feeling and opiate-like effects.
At a low dose, it can serve as a stimulant.
Alkaloids are found in kratom.
These alkaloids are alike to the pharmacological and synthetic opiates.
However, as reported, it is not very addictive.
Surprisingly, it is even used to combat addiction from opiate and the withdrawal symptoms suffered.
If it is to be consumed as a pain reliever, it is important to ingest it with caution and more responsibly.
Having suffered from back injuries and years of intermittent and frightful discomfort, I knew that what I needed was a non-addictive way of combatting the recurring pain.
I realized that kratom was the suitable solution.
It is natural and really effective.
To be honest, I cannot tell if it is eliminating the back pain, just reducing it or making me not to worry about it.
However, I know that after using it, the feeling is great.
It offers a truly delightful opiate-like thrill.
Maybe it would not matter as I only use it once in a while, but the point is that it makes me feel better.
My quality of life is improved.
Tea has a range of diverse benefits and negatives when compared to other methods of consuming kratom, which makes it unique.
Alongside the chewing of the leaves, it is the most usual method employed particularly for indigenes in Southeastern Asia.
Consuming kratom in tea form will always have its pros and cons as well as the recipes that have been used in making it more enjoyable, given its bitter taste.
Making kratom tea has an old practice that some people still enjoy till date.
This is by dipping and boiling it.
During the process, it is often stirred and then strained to come up with batches of the kratom tea.
Certainly, there are some that enjoy that bitter alkaline green grass taste that comes with the tea.
Personally, I would not mind the way it is prepared, though the alkaline bitter taste churns my stomach.
That taste is the very thing that has made kratom very special.
I love the fresh smell that comes from the leaves and powder.
I also love its pain relieving effect and the mood enhancing effects of kratom.
Although the preparation of kratom tea might not be ritualized for me, it is, however, a necessary bitter pill to swallow.
It is worth the stress or discomfort in order to enjoy the benefits of the kratom leaf.
Kratom Brewing Process
Have you tried making use of an earlier type of coffee machine?
This takes away the stress involved in brewing kratom tea.
For just $15, I bought an old glass Pyrex 8-cup coffee maker on eBay and use it for making my kratom tea.
I usually avoid those automatic coffee or tea machines that are a plug-in.
This is because I would want to brew my kratom tea for a longer period rather than the short cycle of the normal automatic coffee machine.
The best is usually the transparent and clear glass coffee maker.
This enables me to observe the tea on-the-go as it darkens.
Find a good kratom source; bearing in mind it is mostly sold as incense.
Individually, I feel it is the finest way to avoid extracts that are enhanced or adulterated.
It is better to go for the natural and regular kratom leaves.
Kratom powder or leaves can be mixed in simmering water and allowed to be at a steady temperature.
If it is a kratom tea made from powder, the required steeping time is quite shorter compared to if it was for dried leaves.
So for powder, we can allow a steeping time of about 10-15 minutes.
For leaves, it is necessary to allow it to steep for a much longer duration.
If using powder you can know that the steeping is about to complete when you notice it is no longer sitting on top of the water.
Extricating the liquid from the kratom leaves or powder is not as difficult as most people assume.
For the leaves, the traditional straining methods can be used.
For the powder, if you let it cool down, it will sink to the bottom on its own.
Thus, you can easily pour out your tea from the top.
Although the way in which it is prepared tends to vary from person to person as well as the countries they reside, there are few helpful guidelines.
This helps in understanding how it can be made without losing the alkaloid content.
It is certainly my hope that the experiences I have shared about this wonderful miraculous plant can be of help in enjoying the benefits of kratom.
Please, kratom should be used in a responsible manner.
There is no need to drive after you have taken it.
Allow yourself some necessary time to enjoy the kratom benefits as it can have a lasting effect of up to four hours.
It is also important to ensure that you are in a secure and conducive environment before you undertake the use of kratom.
